Pictured on the Mount Pleasant Soldiers Memorial Hall Honor Board and listed at the Anglican Church and Presbyterian Church.
Family members speak of the story of John’s father’s dream that ‘he had just seen Jack blown to pieces’. Red Cross reports confirmed his death. A Memorial service was held at St John’s Anglican Church in March 1918.
