THE LATE LANCE-CORPORAL P. C. F. BOOMER.

Lance-Corporal Percy C. F. Boomer, who was killed in action on November 5, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Boomer, of Willaston. He left South Australia on September 21, 1915, and arrived in Egypt on October 21. He was wounded on August 5, in the big push on the Somme, and it was after returning to duty he made the supreme sacrifice. He was 22 years of age, was of a bright disposition, and respected and loved by all who knew him. His death is mourned by a large circle of friends and relatives.
